We are excited to share a meaningful milestone in our commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation. In collaboration with Treedom and Plastic Free, we have proudly planted 20 White Mangroves, also known as “Turtle Trees,” as part of an initiative to combat pollution and protect marine ecosystems. In addition to planting these trees, we have also made a direct donation of €200 to Plastic Free to further support their incredible work. This contribution reinforces our dedication to their mission and the impactful projects they lead.
White Mangroves are incredible trees that play a critical role in preserving and restoring coastal environments. They act as powerful carbon sinks, helping to reduce greenhouse gases and combat climate change. These trees also serve as natural barriers, preventing erosion and shielding coastal areas from storm surges and flooding. Additionally, mangrove ecosystems support biodiversity by providing shelter and sustenance to a wide range of marine and terrestrial wildlife. By planting these trees, we are not only addressing environmental challenges but also contributing to the health and resilience of vital ecosystems.
This initiative goes beyond planting trees. For every White Mangrove planted, 5 Euros are donated to Plastic Free, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing plastic pollution and protecting marine life. Their work includes rescuing and rehabilitating injured sea turtles, supplying essential equipment and resources to care for marine wildlife, and monitoring and safeguarding turtle nesting areas to promote healthy reproduction cycles. In addition to the funds raised through our tree planting, we have contributed €200 directly to Plastic Free. This donation helps them expand their reach, enabling more impactful projects and furthering their mission to protect our oceans and marine life.
